The Cheeky Corner Suite has the best view of any cabin in the RockStar Quarters tier — and arguably one of the best views of any cabin on any cruise ship. Positioned at the aft corners of the ship on Decks 8 through 14, these suites offer wrap-around panoramic views from a terrace that covers nearly a third of the ship’s width. The wake stretches out behind you. The horizon curves at the edges. At sunset, it’s genuinely breathtaking.
The tradeoffs are real, and worth knowing before you book. But if the view is your priority, the Cheeky Corner Suite delivers it in a way nothing else in the RockStar tier can match.
The Space

Cheeky Corner Suites range from 615 to 857 square feet depending on deck — with the interior holding at 311 square feet across all decks, and the balcony growing larger as you go higher. The three size tiers correspond to deck position: Pretty Big Terrace (Decks 8-9), Even Bigger Terrace (Decks 10-11), and Biggest Terrace (Decks 12-14). The balcony is the defining feature of this suite — wrap-around, generously furnished, and positioned for views that forward and mid-ship cabins simply cannot match.
The interior includes the full marble bathroom with the signature Peek-a-Boo shower, the RockStar in-room minibar, record player, and all standard suite appointments. The design leans into the aft-corner position with window arrangements that maximize the panoramic effect even from inside the cabin.
The Tradeoffs

Distance from Richard’s Rooftop: The Cheeky Corner Suites are the farthest of all RockStar suites from Richard’s Rooftop, which is located at the bow on Deck 15-16. The daily walk from your aft-corner suite to the Sunset Happy Hour is the full length of the ship. This is worth noting but not necessarily a dealbreaker — the walk takes a few minutes and the route through the ship is pleasant.
Motion sensitivity: Aft positioning means more vertical movement in rough water. If you are prone to motion sickness, a midship suite like the Seriously Suite is the better choice.
Which Deck to Book
The higher the deck, the larger the terrace and the better the view — but also the higher the price. For most Sailors, Decks 10-11 (Even Bigger Terrace) represent the sweet spot: a meaningfully larger terrace than the entry tier, a genuinely spectacular view, and a more accessible price than the top-deck Biggest Terrace category.
Insider Tips from Joel and Erin
- Book Deck 10-11 for the best value in this suite type. The terrace upgrade from Deck 8-9 is significant enough to justify; the jump from 10-11 to 12-14 is less dramatic for the additional cost.
- The wake view at sunset is worth every dollar. Plan to be on your terrace for at least one sunset during your sailing. This is one of the genuinely transcendent moments available on a Virgin Voyages ship.
- Accept the walk to Richard’s Rooftop as part of the experience. The Cheeky Corner is your private sanctuary. Richard’s Rooftop is your social destination. The walk is the transition between the two.
