The Mega RockStar Quarters are the top tier of accommodation on any Virgin Voyages ship, and they operate in a category of their own. Not just larger suites — a fundamentally different onboard financial experience, where drinks throughout the ship are effectively unlimited, the Thermal Suite at Redemption Spa is yours every day, and the level of personal service from your dedicated Mega RockStar Agent is closer to a personal assistant than a concierge.
Four suite types make up the Mega RockStar tier: Gorgeous, Posh, Fab, and Massive. Here’s how they differ.
The Mega RockStar Perk Upgrade

Every Mega RockStar suite includes all RockStar perks plus:
- Bottomless in-room bar: Daily replenishment of a full minibar. Unlike RockStar’s one-time stocking, Mega RockStar’s bar is refilled every day by noon.
- Unlimited ship drinks: Any drink priced under $25, up to two at a time per Sailor. Two bottles of wine per day under $90. Drinks above the threshold receive a 25% discount.
- Daily Thermal Suite access: Mud room, salt room, steam room, sauna, hot and cold plunge pools — complimentary every day of the voyage (typically charged at up to $79 for 3 hours).
- Private transfer or free parking: Private transfer to/from the ship up to 50 miles from the port, or complimentary parking where available.
- Dedicated Mega RockStar Agent: A single named agent assigned specifically to your cabin for the entire voyage.
The Four Mega RockStar Suite Types

Gorgeous Suite (570 sq ft): The entry-level Mega RockStar. Similar interior to the Brilliant Suite (RockStar tier) but with Mega RockStar perks and a larger double-depth balcony featuring an outdoor shower.
Posh Suite (833 sq ft): Living and sleeping areas divided by a wall. Sofa converts to a bed for up to four Sailors. The main bathroom features a Peek-a-Boo shower and ocean views; a second half-bath serves the living area.
Fab Suite (950 sq ft): Essentially an oversized Posh Suite with marginally more square footage and seating. Second largest suite on the ship. Private terrace with full Mega RockStar appointment.
Massive Suite (2,147+ sq ft): The largest, most extravagant cabin in the fleet. Forward-facing position at the bow of the ship. Hot tub on the terrace. Personal music room with four electric guitars on the walls. The only suite in the fleet with its own bathtub. Two sleeping areas.
The Drink Math
For Sailors who drink meaningfully across a 7-night sailing, the unlimited drink benefit of the Mega RockStar tier can offset a significant portion of the suite premium versus RockStar. Two Sailors each averaging 3-4 drinks per day at an average of $15 per drink over 7 nights equals approximately $630-840 in drink costs — all of which becomes $0 in a Mega RockStar suite. Add daily Thermal Suite access (up to $553 value for a 7-night sailing) and the math becomes compelling.
Insider Tips from Joel and Erin
- The Gorgeous Suite is the Mega RockStar sweet spot for couples. You get every Mega RockStar perk at the floor price of the tier. The upgrade from Gorgeous to Posh is significant in space; whether that space justifies the additional cost depends on how much time you spend in the cabin.
- The Massive Suite is a bucket list experience, not an everyday one. The hot tub terrace, the music room, the forward position — it’s spectacular and impractical in equal measure. Book it for a milestone.
- Use the Thermal Suite every single day. Mega RockStar guests who don’t use their complimentary Thermal Suite access are leaving real value on the table. Build it into your morning or evening routine from Day 1.
